The first Chapters
instituted in the world, and the United States were styled after the
Amaranth Degree Ceremony.
During this era Grand Worthy Matrons/Worthy Matrons,
Grand Worthy Patrons/Worthy Patrons were referred to as Royal Grand
Matron/Royal Matron and Grand Royal Patron/Royal Patron.
In 1950-1951, during the administration of Blanche
W. Lewis, the title of Royal Grand Matron/Royal Grand Patron was changed to
Grand Worthy Matron/Grand Worthy Patron.
At the time of the
instituting of Cecelia Dunlap Grand Chapter, there had been eight Chapters
or Courts active in Kentucky, namely:

Queen Esther No. 4, Paducah | Elizabeth No. 5, Columbus | Bethsheba No. 6, Clinton |

After the instituting of these first Chapters the Body continued to meet yearly and at each Annual Communication more Chapters were admitted. 1901 the records were incomplete as to the numbers, names and locations of new Chapters, but these were listed:
